Ivan Gligora set the base for production of Kolan using safe technology, while his son Šime wanted to simplify the process using old methods.
His technology and production was inspired by simple farmer's life, while the tag bears Šime's grandfather (on his mother's side) Jure Šmit, the first farmer Šime encountered.
